I got rejected by a girl

I was talking to my best friend in her car for an hour and a half or so after our night ended. At the very end, I tried to make a move. She turned her head and then seemed really sorry about it and such. I felt like I f*cked up the friendship, but then her best friend told me why she turned away. She had pizza earlier, and thought her breath would be gross. While that may seem petty, it made me feel a lot better about myself.

4. I remember

when my bestfriend (who was male) first tried to urge the relationship into a boyfriend/girlfriend type of thing. Lots of things go through your mind....will this ruin our friendship? what if I don't like the way he kisses? what if he don't like how I kiss? so many things that seem so important at the time. I suggest you don't get too up tight about it. And really, why don't you just ask her. She might be relieved to talk about it too. Don't waste too much time worrying. It adds up, believe me.

5. You haven't been rejected

Yet. Get back on that horsey and try again. Usually a woman knows your going to make a move before you do because they pick up on body language and so forth. But you may have caught her by surprise at least as far the purpose of the outing. So now she knows your intention of tonsil hockey and will be ready to deal with it next time.

A rejection is usually a lot clearer than turning away. If she's nice there is the "let's be friends" speech. Or "it's not you, it's me", or "I'm not dating anyone during this time of vulnerability ('cuz I'm holding out for your best friend).
