Maybe I can at least make you smile.

When I was little, my dad convinced me I had magical powers. I could blink things, but only when my dad was helping me (because I wasn't strong enough on my own.) I'd blink my eyes and nod my head and there would be something under my pillow. A chocolate bar or a small toy or something. I never clued into the fact that I had NO control over what I blinked.

Once in awhile we'd have to drink a magic potion to keep up our strength. (Water with food colouring in it I think.) My older brothers LOVED it. Oh well, I was the favourite. ;-)
