Man-sized coffin
The owner of Goliath Casket Company, Keith Davis, right, and Grant Hollingsworth, one of his three employees, sand the lid of a 220.98cm wide coffin, the largest the company has ever made, on Monday. The coffin was ordered for an Alaskan man weighing 408kg who would not fit into one of the Lynn, Indiana-based company's 132cm models. Advertised as serving the needs of the oversized casket community for almost 20 years, the Goliath Casket Company expects to make between 600 and 800 oversized coffins this year alone. The company accepts special orders for any size.
