I really hope this is something he can handle. He is so incredibly funny and fresh and I'd love to have him on the scene for decades to come.

1. In a way I am glad when I heard the story
because it mean't that the other option of what was going on was out. Namely that he was screwing up a chance of the lifetime because of some kind of substance abuse.

3. I wish him the best...
...I've only seen 1-2 of his shows (I don't have cable), but he's a genuinely funny man. I heard some of his stand-up on the radio today. It was about him going into a redneck restaurant and ordering chicken. The rednecks were saying, "I knew you were going to order chicken." He thought, "What, are they psychic?" Then, they told him it was because he was black, and he was like, "Here I thought I liked chicken all these year because it was delicious, and it turns out I have a genetic predisposition!" (Sarcastically, of course.) A very funny man. I wish him all the best.

5. Best wishes for his recovery
He had hilarious sketches on race relations. The take-off of the O.J. Simpson trial was to die for.

6. I think this is more important than an illness of just another shallow...
celebrity. Dave Chappelle makes funny jokes while simultaneously commenting on messed up thiings in society. Take his sketch about a blind white supremicist who happens to be black. Its like an eighteenth century satire and its really funny. I hope he can one day go back to making his show.

7. "Wonder woman had a crappy lasso that made you tell the truth.
She'd lasso some criminal,he'd turn around and say "Nice tits."

Just saw this on an old episode.
Charlie Murphy's true Hollywood stories with Rick James were hilarious.

Get well soon dude.

10. There are certain illnesses that develop at certain ages
For the average person dealing with mental illness. At 30 years old it could be just about anything.
