I am so excited.
I finally have enough for a down payment, and with my companies discount I am only going to have to pay 269 bucks over MSRP, and this baby right here is going to be mine.

6. Congratulations!
Just before I retired I bought my dream car, probably could have bought a cheaper car, a better deal, but this was my dream car. All I can say is enjoy!!!! I am happy for you.

There is a time in life when we just need to give ourselves something that we want. We deserve it.

THis is a hot car on the market. 19,770 is MSRP.

4. Buying a new car is a total waste of money . . .
. . . unless you have a million dollars in the bank and can pay cash.

Otherwise, you are going to throw away much more than $10,000, plus interest.

What are you looking for, an alleged chick magnet, or transportation?

9. Why do you people
have to be so negative? Why can't you just be happy this person bought something that was on a dream list. What is wrong with you?

I am tired of all the negative in this world and I have just about had it!

12. Buying a new car is the best thing ever
People that say otherwise probably haven't done it.

Take it from me, hammering the throttle down on the first car that I ever owned which had more than 200 horses - and was brand new - was fucking awesome

Plus, it smelled new for weeks, shit I didn't even fart in it without the windows down. Whenever I'd walk passed a window that looked out on the driveway I'd stop and admire my green monster. I'd wash it, give it super primo oil. Good times, man, good times.

Now I'm a broke ass college student, the car's got dents on it that need fixing, the sunroof leaks, one of the tires has a slow leak, the shocks are shot all the way around, the stereo stopped working. But after 9 years, all of this is mostly cosmetic and waiting for me to have a real damn job again. But when I get a real damn job I'll probably sell this car, and some chump is gonna buy it after the dealership pretties it up. But you're not gonna be that chump, you're gonna have a spiff new car that's gonna be in your driveway waiting for you to come back out so you can both learn how fast it can go early one morning on an empty highway ;-)

28. Yes, it is.. only in the USA do people fall for the car co BS about
a car being an 'investment'..

It's the only time where someone will pay $25,000 for a car, then add on $10K in interest, and the moment it's driven off the lot, it loses almost half it's value... and by the time they're done paying for it, it's worth 1/10th of what they paid for it, yet they're PROUD to "own" it something that's literally worthless for which they paid 3 times the value.

Fascinating how the car cos have us snookered, isn't it?

35. I do not let them get to me.
I mean come on any vehicle you buy loses value, but not like he says it does. And if you take care of it, it will hold more of its value. I am tired of owning cars that someone else has already ran half the value off of it. I want a new car. And a nice car. I am not buying a status symbol, I am buying a car that I told myself I would buy when I was a point that I can afford it. I am at that point now.

But I just put people like this on ignore and go on.

It is on the dealers lot right now. Performance white clearcoat. I have had three dark colored cars and am tired of burning the peewaddly out of myself when I touch it in the summer. It will have Charcoal gray cloth interior, 5 speed automatic transmission, I am not dolling out on the extras. Just the factory on the rest.

do not want the GT, just getting a V6. Helps on the insurance to not go with the GT. People like to steal the GTs. I just want a little kick, if I had the GT, I would spend a lot on speeding tickets.

I would buy a pickup before I bought an SUV. But I do not want a pickup, right now. I have never seen why you would need an SUV to run around town. I do not remember having to drive over all terrain going to the quicky mart.
