4. I voted for him in 72
It was the first election I was old enough to vote in. I got mad at McGovern over the Eagleton dismissal so I voted for Pat Paulsen. I was away at college and had an absentee ballot and I wrote him in. My dad, who was a history teacher, was so mad at me.

I still think he was the best candidate in that election.

6. Saw him back in the mid 70's... damn he was funny
but he would be politically incorrect about some of the jokes he told. Told some very ethnic humor.
