I just turned it on. It's about a fundie who found religion after killing someone.

Utterly absurd and disjointed. Strained credulity.

It's always fun to watch Sam's hair and his sputtering outrage and indignation. Every week, it's exactly the same.

14. I think its good that they are trying to write shows around current issues
Most of the dialog on this show is so terse its a little hard to follow, but I think they were trying to show how absurd it is to use religious conversion as a defense.

They had to make almost every character have a confession of faith in the process, but they tried.

The guilty character ended up seeing that true religion involved taking responsibility for his crime by accepting the punishment thats due.

This is pretty much the opposite of "born-agains" (like Bush) who say that since they've had a religious conversion their past mistakes don't really count.
