The comedian’s whereabouts and condition have been unknown since Comedy Central abruptly announced last week that the planned May 31 launch of the third season of “Chappelle’s Show” had been postponed and production halted.

From what I have read, it sounds like the taping of the third season has been pressure-packed. He had a pretty quick ride to the top as well, so all eyes were definitely on him to come up with something huge this season.

The real sadness in Chapelle's story isn't that he became unglued as the result of being unsuccessful...it's the opposite.

He made a lot of people laugh...and THINK...and I'm sure he'll do the same again, once this is behind him.
