I just moved all of the lawn furniture inside. It really looks like a nasty one. Oh well. At least it cooled everything off and I got to shut off the air.
We might have one here, though I'm hoping that it will have spent its energy by the time it gets here.
Remember: if you can hear thunder, you are within striking distance. That's why no one should ever go outside if seemingly-distant thunder can be heard.
It looked like the world was going to end on the road between Fayetteville and Rockingham yesterday, but I only saw a little lightning and turned my radio up to ignore the thunder. The thunder is the part that scares me. It scares my cat too. Turned out it didn't do much yesterday and there was only a couple droplets of water as I helped my aunt into the wheelchair and into "home". I love being home. Storms creep me out though.
I'm creeped out right now too because I am trying to identify a spider I saw this past weekend. I've been looking at spider pictures for hours now and my skin is still itching and crawling. It wasn't doing that before. I think it's a fishing spider or a Carolina wolf spider. Ick. I'm scared of spiders too.
