Any RYAN Adams fans out there ?

Has anyone listened to his new album "Rock N Roll" ? I'm downloading it right now....I think he is really talented even though he is known for acting a little too arrogant and obnoxious sometimes......one of the best American songwriters out there, IMO.........

6. only heard one song by him.....

....a cover of "Wonderwall" it was live and he was wasted...still did the song justice though...I'm sure his other stuff is good too...I've heard it said by some that he's good....and give high regard to this persons taste and authority on music so I'd say that's a good choice....downloadin' it eh? Better watch out ya might get busted and sued! :evilgrin:

.....I have never ever downloaded any either...seriously this computer is too old and can't handle the space required to download...it's too slow and is unable to download mp3's..every time I tried it'd lock up...meh! :P

I'm amazed at the reaction to his stuff, ie, critics and music lovers falling over themselves. Yes, he IS good, but I think the over-reaction says more about the lack of exciting artists getting promoted.

I have no problems with his perceived arrogance; people will run you over in a heartbeat in the entertainment industry. Everyone expects you to do whatever they want you to and 'no' is a dirty word. And he was no way near ready, emotionally, for the reaction Gold got. In the summer of 2001, he was playing 200 capacity nightclubs, a year later, taping a TV special with Elton John - which he was obviously uncomfortable taking part in.

I'd like him to live up to his new one's title of Rock N Roll. "Enemy Fire" from Gold is awesome.

especially New York, New York (I might be a little biased, though).....I liked some of the songs on Demolition but there was too much filler material on it........
