Here's band for you.

The Art of Noise. Do remember the Buggles? That seemingly goofy lead singer Trevor Horn? He's been with them for almost twenty years.

3. Yes. Also a Prince song with Tom Jones. The one I really like
was the one with Roger Whittaker whistling. I can't remember the name of it or find anything reasonable in Google.

5. I remember both The Buggles and The Art Of Noise.
Trevor Horn was also a quite active producer in the 80s.

7. Huge Art of Noise fan here
A few minor corrections though. Trevor Horn was not with them for twenty years. He was there at the beginning, they got tired of him taking too much credit and split from him after Close (to the edit).

They did reunite with Horn in 1999.

Anne Dudley was the heart of the band. She went on to work in film and won an Oscar for her score to The Full Monty.

Horn was also involved in producing Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Anyone remember when the Buggles took over Yes? Geoffe Downes and Trevor Horn were on the album Drama.

Then Downes went off to be in Asia with John Wetton and Steve Howe...

Damn the lives those prog rockers led.... :-)

14. I tried to find that but no luck
Kiss is the one they did with Tom Jones.

I checked allmusic.com (the imdb of music) but no luck.

Will keep looking as I would be interested in hearing that one. I'm a huge fan but haven't heard them all. :-)

10. Horn was also a member of Yes at one time
He played on at least one album (Tormato, I believe) and produced the "90125" album that reintroduced them to a new generation of fans in the early 80's.

Trevor Horn is a very talented guy.

13. I have that Debussy tribute CD they put out a few years ago.
I like it. Trevor Horn has had his hand in some really good music.
