Those things will kill you...but you have to eat a lot of them over a lifetime in order to die of high cholesterol...

What is a Hunky Hand Grenade?

Raw Ground Meat
Cooked Rice
Onion
Spices

Mix this together...and then roll a handful of this in a cabbage leaf...layer in a pan and cover with tomato sauce....cook until the meat is cooked thoroughly...

1. I have eaten my share of Hunky Grenades

Raised on them in fact. :-)

One Grandma cooked them the way you suggest and the other cooked them on top of the stove with a large can of sauerkraut, water, and lots of ketchup over the top. Oh and don't forget the kielbassi, as if there wasn't enough cholesterol already :-).

I think they drank so much slivovitz in my family in order to cut the effects of the cholesterol...

I remember watching the Olympics broadcast from Sarjevo and this old guy was rubbing slivovitz on his arms to keep him warm.....made me laugh...
