13. Cameras actually lie all the time

because they photograph a moment out of time that may or may not be representative of what is going on. How many group photos do you have with people with eyes shut, because they were blinking? We blink 9 times a minute supposedly.

There are all kinds of distortions perpetuated with cameras.

The first photograph is distorted by the shape of the photographed image being changed. This is often done accidentally when cutting and pasting a digital image from one source to another, by grabbing one of those anchors.

The Time cover uses distorted perspective by photographing Coulter from a low position with a wide angle lens, thereby distorting her legs and making them look longer than they already are.

She is not an attractive woman, and really shouldn't wear short skirts. It is like anorexia on parade.

I make an exception for Ann Coulter.

Why do I make this exception for her? Because she asked for it. She has made, and as far as I know, continues to make vile comments about liberal women and Democratic women based on ridiculous stereotypes about looks. She simultaneously praises her own kind for their "beauty."

If she can dish it out, she should be able to take it.
