It's a good race course but the last improvement couple of years ago made it less appealing to me.

7. A great story about that course...

Back in the Fifties, the great British racing driver Stirling Moss had just finished a Nurburgring race in his monster Mercedes SLR.

A reporter started harassing Moss about his (relatively) slow finish. Accused him of getting old, getting scared, etc.

Moss told the reporter to get in the car, put both feet on the brake pedal and push as hard as he could.

The reporter did, and Moss then took one hand and easily pushed the car down the road.

Moss had driven the last part of the race with no brakes at all.
