Bumper Sticker Design Question: Is This A Bit Too Cryptic???

Made some changes based on suggestions. Maybe this works a bit better:

I was thinking about "Bushcarthyism" and realized of if was broken down into its syllables, it really incorportates three of America's biggest problems, Bush, cars (oil dependence), and the growing theocracy.

Not sure how people will read it or if it really makes any sense at all...

Also going stripped down with no images always makes it a bit less clear.

I had an earlier version with bush, a hummer and a crucifix to make it a bit more clear but, the text was just too small.

Not used to designing for bumpers. Odd dimensions!

12. Too disconnected, but maybe without the hyphens

Too many connections to make, too many things to work out. Car ruins it, because it isn't as clearly connected to Bush, theism and McCarthyism, plus you have to leap from cars to oil.

Though, to me, it works without the hyphens. That way, if you miss the car connection, you still understand the rest.

It is clever, though. I like it. Just not sure how many will get it.
