10. Why is this any surprise?

Been telling anyone on here who will listen: The game is rigged and has been for many years. This is a National Security State, not a "democracy", and to keep fighting to the contrary or believing it can ever be otherwise can only make one miserable and angry. I tore up my voter registration card last November when I realized how stupid I was to keep participating in a rigged system.

So fuck it. Like the Big Brother apparatus couldn't find out anything it wanted about any of us with little effort. This latest venture just makes it tidier for them, more cumbersome and bureaucratic for the rest of us.

This was inevitable, and has been for DECADES. We never had any power to stop it. It sucks, but there it is.

So let's fuck it, and have some pie.

The Canadian Dollar (the Loonie) was worth about 61 cents in 2002. Now it's around 81. That's a rise in value of about a third. If you're gonna buy, better do it before the US Government defaults on its debts and the Greenback goes fifty to the Loonie!
