I have learned any number of ways to manipulate windows for GUIs at work, and it's become quite a talent of mine. :D

You take the little color sampler tool, sample a dot of the color you want (the green of the street sign), make a little marquee around whatever it is, then use the eraser tool to color a swath in that area.

It's really easy once you get the hang of it.
