need some audio advice

We would like to put in a surround sound system in our great room. (yes, it is a big open room.) I have looked at lower end Bose for about $699, also Klipsh, Infinity and Polk. $700 is my ceiling for price and I am looking for a 4 satellite with sub woofer system, and it seems that most come with a center speaker as well. Any recommendations? Any advice on what to avoid?

It does the dialogue.

Just go with whatever sounds best to you. Different people like different speakers.

On Edit: I assumed you wanted surround for TV, not just music.....
