When I was a kid...
I used to make tiny babies out of clay, so that my pregnant Barbies could give birth to them. Of course, my brother's GI Joes were always the fathers. I wonder if Joe ever considered just what genetic travesty made his offspring blue?

Tell us something goofy you did when you were a kid.

1. Used to have imaginary baseball games
in the back yard. Sometimes by my self, sometimes with buddies, sometimes with my sister. Always emulated stars of the day, Willie Mays, Ernie Banks and others. Maybe you had to be there to understand what I'm saying. It seems weird now, although I still love baseball and other sports.

2. I used to write plays and force my friends to perform them
We also made up a game called "Eeyore" that was kind of a tag/hide and seek mishmash.

3. Oh, I've got "goofy" for you.
My grandfather (the one in the pic I posted) was a wood carver. He often came to our house to use my dad's jigsaw, and one afternoon, he gave me a smallish block of wood he'd cut. I liked hanging out in the garage with him.

Anyway...I drew numbers on the block of wood so that it resembled a calculator. It was my "remote control" to call my imaginary animals. I had a kangaroo, a horse, and two little birds, a red one and a blue one, named Morty and Ferdie (after Mickey Mouse's nephews). The birds sat on my shoulders, one on each side.

I must have been about five.

11. A couple of years ago, you could get the replicas at Toys R Us.
My kid even has one...my brother bought it for him for Christmas. As much fun as I had with those things as a kid, I can't tolerate the REVVVVVV sound now. :D
