1. what a ridiculous ranking system

I don't think that making everyone take AP's makes for a good high school. What if everyone fails the test?

2. My school would have tied for last with other schools

We were a small rural school which did not have any AP classes. It turns out that you can take the AP tests without having taken the class, but I did not know this nor were we told this. We were not told about IB either. Honors students were allowed to take classes at local colleges though.

6. At my HS school they made it a secret shush shush thing

for students to be allowed in the AP courses . I took honors courses but the guidance counselor had her favorites and so for and so for . I knew more about the topics on the AP exams than the students who were allowed to take them . I never knew that you could take the tests without having taken the course . If I would have known than that would have been extra credits for college .
