Just talked to my mom on this fine Mother's Day afternoon

I haven't spoken to her in a few weeks (I've been busy with finals) and she has been busy making real estate deals. She just told me that she is really close to closing a deal worth several million dollars (of which she gets 6%). She doesn't work for any company and it started as a simple phone call and now she is on the verge of getting A LOT of money. Apparently she is building quite the reputation among local investors and if she lands this deal I have a feeling that her career is really going to take off and she will probably never have money troubles again.

I'm just crossing my fingers, sending good vibes her way and hope the deal goes down on Tuesday...She's a great woman and mother and really deserves this!
