1. Hang on to your hat....
My grandfather wrote most of them, and most of the paperback books of the characters.

3. Yes... I think so.
I'm not sure if the UK versions were published by ACE... but at any rate, he's credited as both John Oram Thomas and as Jack Thomas, depending on the edition.

I think I have a couple of them here, but they dont travel well once the binding glue dries out.

I have most of his other (non-UNCLE) books, though; he was a British secret operative in Denmark during WW2, and he managed to churn out a few books as a result.

4. I did a quick search on the internet and I found one of your
grandfather's novels " The Copenhagen Affair", I remember that one.

My ace novels are still packed up, but I did read them over and over.

There are a lot of UNCLE fanzines out there, I spent more then I want to think about on them.

I was very happy to find the fanzines years ago. Some of the writers are very good.

5. WOW!!...How cool.
I read all those paperbacks too in Jr High.

Was your grandfather like Mr Waverly? ...Somehow I always pictured the author in his image.

6. If anyone would like to read UNCLE fanzines, here's a really good
place to start.

www.file40.net

There are lots of other TV shows which also have fanzines, which you can read for free.
