He spent part of his childhood in Canada, and represented Canada in the jr. olympics.

Buster Douglas was born and raised in Ohio.

9. flutie was almost MVP
not that hes canadian. He played there for a few years. Football and Lacrosse are the only true "american" sports.

And as far as my "re-education" ;) since coming up here; I've decided to seriously take up curling; bought most of the gear (used, natch)the past few weeks, and can't wait to start..

Was because the NHL strike prevented the Canucks from allowing the Ravens to arrange a schedule because they didn't know when the Cancuks would be playing
