4. You have great taste in music.
It doesn't get much better than that album.

6. PG rocks
Some killer riffs on that disk. Zeppelin was back in a hard rock groove for that outing. It was less experimental than some of their other stuff and rocked out pretty good. Set a good stage for "Presence", which was also a hard rock foray.

My only beef with PG is that it was slightly bloated. Thjey coulda done one absolutely killer disk instead of the double album. It plays like a full length CD nowadays though, so maybe it's not as strung out as I remember it back in the day. They went into full bloat with that crappy live disk, then righted the ship.

7. PG is 2 CDs
I found a Led Zep fansite that had trivia for all the LZ songs. Much of PG seems to be leftover songs from the first 5 albums. I think they definately had 3 album sides but put some filler in there to make 4 album sides (2 albums or 2 CDs).

However, listening to it - there isn't a single song on there that I don't absolutely adore. And although there are some legendary songs on PG like Kashmir, Trampled Underfoot, Custard Pie & Houses of the Holy; there are also some hidden gems with 2 of my favorites of that Album being Night Flight & The Rover.

Twenty years ago when the album was first put out, yeah it was somewhat bloated. But today it's an absolute masterpiece

9. BTW, it was double 8-track but only single cassette (I have those too)
and here is the site that has trivia. Click on the song below which has the lyrics and scroll down - trivia included. I found out that one of my holy grail songs (Songs that I would love to see done live once in my lifetime by either the band or someone from the band was never done in concert - Ramble On)
