Is it sad that I recognize the sound of a keg going up stairs?
(thunk...drag drag drag..."aww shit man, watch where you're going"...thunk...drag drag drag....)

Or is it sadder that the keg is going up the stairs to the upper apartment tonight? (I should have known -- the boys upstairs are students, and their exams start Monday.)

Tonight isn't a "Stacie staying up all night listening to bad music" night. Tonight is a "Stacie didn't get enough sleep last night and has to entertain her parents for Mother's Day tomorrow morning" night. It very well might be a "Stacie knocks on the door at 1 am and tells them that the 'Thong Song' doesn't make them cool, really" night.

:grr:

One consolation -- very few students stick out the summer here. With any luck, the apartment will be vacant or close to it until August, and then maybe some non-students (or non-traditional students, anyhow) will move in instead.

Let's hope they can't do worse than that jackass with the dogs who lived above you. :(

4. "Dude, don't put the keg in the bathtub, you know Kyle's gonna pee in it."
This is not going to be a pleasant evening.

5. Oh MAN those are MY neighbors.
One of them threw a can of Natural Light at my door the other day. Class acts.

6. Once, at 3 am, I heard what I thought was someone pouring a beer
out the window.

When I woke up in the morning, I realized that people generally don't pour beer out windows.

They generally don't urinate out windows, either, but when you've got 40 guests and one toilet...I don't know for sure, but 2+2... :eyes:
