I am taking the opportunity to brag on my only daughter - who earned a 4.0 this semester - because she is the bestest daughter a mom could have.

She is almost always a serene, sweet, lovely person. Much more humble than her old crotchety Mama. Now, she will fight for the Dem cause ( her friends roll their eyes sometimes when she gets going on politics) but for the most part she is one of the most humble, diplomatic people I know. ( Her "I am the Most Elite Member of DU" post cracked me up precisely because she is so unassuming and shy in real life.)

21 years ago this month, I gave birth to that sweet thing. And I am so proud of the woman she has become.

If you like, leave her a message. She's getting ready to go on a job interview so she has no idea I posted this. I just love her so.

7. Tell me about it

On my music web site, I feature a different band's tour dates every month. Once I featured a band who would be playing 30 dates. I would have been impressed by that if the month hadn't had 31 days--lazy underachieving wimps!

She had to go on an interview for a pretty cool gig but I'll let her tell you about it herself.

She is pretty pissed at this old hunk of crap I "drive" through the internets, being all used to those fancy shmancy college computers and all, but I know she'll get used to hillbilly speed once again and that she appreciates all who posted and she'll thank you herself in the morning...or I will put her on restriction :)
