I have never put one on my vehicles and never will. Looks kind of trashy to me.

7. some are kind of classy, like: "Born OK the first time"
I love that one.

My bumper is completely filled up and now I'm starting to put small signs on the back windows, too.

then got a new car (2004 passat) and couldnt wait to put one on it. Now i have a "W" with a red slash through it. Its small but to the point. I am very proud of it.

13. I like em
But I usually refrain from the controversial ones. My dad once had a Darwin Fish on his car, and he put the car in for a tune up. The owner of the shop, a super religious dude (not like there's anything wrong with that!) decided that there was all this stuff wrong with the car. My dad had to pay $3000 to get the car out. I don't know why he didn't just tell the guy to leave his car alone.

'better not go out in the rain. You might drown.

I'm not concerned with looking common since I have never proported being anything other than a peasant. Old car, new car, what's the difference?

15. I am with you there. Same with logos, I will not be a billboard.
Not for anything. Especially not for Nike.

Ever read "Class" by Paul Fussel? Has a chapter about how "logo" clothing is so terribly, tackily bourgeouise.

16. No, no corporate logos.
I just have "issue" and candidate stickers.

I scraped the dealer's name off the car. My mother got me a Hilfiger jacket for Xmas once. She got all upset when I removed all the tags. "But my name is not Tommy Hilfiger."

I love to read them on other peoples cars but I will never have one. I even pull the car name badges off when I get a new car.

19. None on my cars, ever, but I do know one thing:
When you see a vehicle that has more than, shall we say, a certain density of stickers on it (you all know what I mean), one thing that's crystal clear is that you do not, ever, want to get into a conversation with the driver of that car.

Even if 42 out of the 44 stickers say things that agree with your point of view.

Yes?

it seems to me that a vast majority of folks here sport bumper stickers on their modes of transportation. myself included.

22. I have a nice "F the President"
sticker on the back of my car in response to the huge number of "W the President" stickers here in Nashville.

I love the sticker but I really don't think bumper stickers contribute to "the dialogue." They're usually just snarky remarks that do the cause more harm than good.

23. Bumper stickers are an excellent way to support our candidates
for public office. I have several anti Chimp stickers on my vehicle.
