The Pianist
I just watched it for the first time. Did anyone else see this movie and like it as much as I did? Good lord, it actually made me cry, which is something very few movies do. Even Schindler's List, with similar subject matter, didn't hit me that hard.

The most moving scene was when Adrian Brody's character escaped from the train and was walking through the ghetto sobbing his eyes out, knowing the rest of his family was headed to their deaths...How many actors do you see that emote that well? He and Roman Polanski definitely deserved their Oscars.

5. Very tense, too,
although I knew he had to survive it to write his memoirs.

4. It is an amazing film.
Adrian Brody knocked my socks off. I was awed by him.

It really is a moving film.

6. fantastic film...
the scene where he finally gets over the ghetto wall and is walking down the middle of the street with nothing but bombed out buildings on either side of him...i clapped my hand over my mouth to keep from crying out.
