freedom of speech.

KA-RA-ZEEEEEE!!!!

HIGH-LO! Yeah, he's nucking futs.

Oh btw, Jon is doing both sides of this interview. He's practically talking FOR Zell.

Zell thinks we should get rid of ALL taxes and just have a consumption tax.

Ok um, when did people first notice that he was missing a lot of attic insulation? Because I'm pretty horrified he was even in this party for so long. I can see why Democrats pretty much shunned the guy. He's an idiot and crazy to boot.

He just said both parties don't care.

Jon ended with "I pretty much disagree with you on everything, but I think your heart's in the right place..."

It must suck to have to say that.

1. Does he understand what freedom of speech is?
Does he understand that it does not have to have the Zell Miller stamp of approval?

What am I saying? Of course he doesn't.

2. Well, if it was up to him, it wouldn't be included in freedom of speech
He is just having one of those moments when he thinks he is in charge.

He is a fucknut for sure.

5. I ALMOST felt sorry for him for a second.
He reminds me of one of those old men who has lost just a few too many brain cells and now can't really put sentences together too well and sort of fumbles around and expresses opinions that people have to clamp a hand over their mouth to keep from snickering at.

9. Caught the last bit of that, most Orwellian episode of TDS ever
Not to mention irony-soaked, a man challenging others to fucking "duels" going on about decency.

Stupid scumbag fuckwit shithead

10. Jon did a pretty good job with Miller
Realistically, Jon wasn't going to be incredibly confrontational or mean to him, and the audience was pretty respectful too for the most part. I mean, Jon's the host - for his role, he did pretty well.

He didn't concede Miller any points, and did keep bringing up how Miller was idolizing a past that didn't exist, and brought up the issue of standards of decency and whether the bankruptcy bill was "decent".

I also thought it was funny how Miller tried to confront Jon over the (hilarious) Laura Bush piece.

11. Oh, and the weird thing about Miller...
...is that before he went to the Senate, he was seen as a perfectly mainstream, progressive-centrist Democrat. He was an enthusiastic Clinton and Gore backer and he was seen as being ideologically not much further from the right than Bill Clinton.

Then he abruptly turned HARD right. He claims the party changed, but that's absurd. He's the one who all of a sudden made a hard-right turn. As if the Mondale and Dukakis campaigns hadn't made him think the party was "too liberal". He even went from pro-choice to pro-life, saying that the birth of his great-grandchildren suddenly made him realize the sanctity of life (yeah, as though the birth of his OWN children had no effect on his views on life).

12. Ah, so the birth of his own children and GRANDchildren
had, uh, no effect on him, eh?

Bullshit. He was just grabbing attention because he was thirsty for it. And the fastest way he knew how was to tack to the right.

Well, it dissolved any friendships he had on the left, and the right just use him like a $2 whore and don't trust him.

That's what happens when you're a turncoat.

13. The jerk is senile
He knows he's on his way out and wants to make as big as splash as possible even if he's used by right wing fanatics.
