There are some grownups left in government (although not, apparently, in the Secret Service). I think they probably look at all of this stuff on one level or another. But by "look at" I don't mean "take seriously."

Surely someone captures DU, and Freep, and Smirking Chimp, and DailyKos and Andrew Sullivan and (insert righty site of your choice) for later analysis. Not CU, of course (a waste of electrons).

But I'm convinced it's like all the Arabic-language intercepts the NSA picks up: they don't understand the language, so most of the data ends up on a hard drive somewhere, unread by anyone.
