Poll question: Favorite "James Bond" other than Sean Connery
"You have Connery, and then you have the rest."
Roger Ebert

So of the "rest" who did the best job, in your opinion.

1. I always had a soft spot for Peirce since remington Steele
deprived him of the role years ago when he was origionally cast.Plus, as he is now a citizen and a Democrat who supported Kerry, I like him even more.He has really spoken out against Bush. There were rumours that Peirce was a Republican, but they are not true, thank god!

4. That's a good point
I was shocked to learn that Tom Selleck could have been "Indiana Jones" but he couldn't do the movie due to the "Magnum P.I." shooting schedule.

9. Politics aside, Selleck would've turned Indy into pure schlock

7. A pleasant surprise. I also had Pierce pegged as a conservative,
but I'm glad he's on our side. And he's a citizen now. Awesome.

2. I haven't seen a Pierce Brosnan Bond movie, so....
I'll have to say Roger Moore.

3. Moore.
I'm just used to him as the "other" Bond. The other guys don't do it for me.

5. Timothy Dalton was never a pretty boy
He had to create the Bond persona out of shear skill and panache.

6. I rank them in this order:
Connery, Brosnan, Moore, Lazenby, Dalton.

8. James Bond movies suck
Sorry, but "Cubby" Broccoli was a major contributer to Ronald Reagan and was the nexus behind getting Hollywood behind Reagan for the 1980 elections.

10. but what does that have to do with the movies?
I tend to disassociate myself from somebody's politics. Jimmy Stewart was a huge Reagan supporter (plus Nixon and Bush I) and he is one of my all-time favorite actors.
