So after three years my friend is getting divorced.
Oddly, not a big shock. It was one of those things you knew wasn't gonna last. Anyway, today, he's telling me the whole story... and he had the GREATEST cap ever.

"Well, on the plus side...I had sex with my doctor's secretary today."

And nope, he isn't lying. It's funny how you become a magnet AFTER getting out of a relationship.

1. better than if he'd had sex with them before the marriage was over!
I found out that men seem to get more attention after they are committed, and women less. Not sure why, but it holds true for most that I know.

21. I'm female and get more attention than when I was single
It could have something to do with my specific circumstances though. I was 19 when my husband and I started dating seriously. I am in an entirely different context than when I was in high school or freshman year of college. I also think that I do look a bit better, dimensions wise too, closer to hour glass figure. I also had a more ignorant view of the world. I didn't really think that guys were attracted to me. Any guys who might have been interested in me, I assumed were just intersted in friendship. If a guy was too direct too soon, I assumed that he was a jerk, who wasn't really interested in me, but just harassing me. I am 27 now.

4. That's the "Greatest Cap ever?"
Is this the same guy that can't hang out with you because it seems his wife doesn't trust him?

It appears her instincts were right; and she should be thrilled to get rid of that jerk.

Sounds like you are going to gain a "fun" drinking buddy; some advice (since you posted this publically)---don't get to close to him. Stick to beers and sports. Otherwise, somehow, some way, you are getting in line to get screwed.

Or you can think, "Oh she's an internet bitch" and just go live that shallow, bullshit, cliched Sideways type of lifestyle.

Steph

11. He's not a jerk, he's one of the nicest guy's you'll ever meet
He's going through a rough time, some woman hits on him and takes him home. That's pretty well it, it's not like he was stalking her or anything. And this was all after he and his wife split.

Judgmental much?

The marriage is over. I don't blame the guy a bit. And I'm a woman.

7. isn't it interesting
how some people presume to know everything about you and/or your friend just because he got some play from his md's secretary?

some people take themselves too seriously, but i guess that doesn't mean much coming from a kid who gets uber-offended when someone attacks hip hop

oh well

17. I don't presume to know "everything" about this guy:
However, I think he is the same guy HeyHey has posted about before.

Here is what I DO know from this post: his friend is getting divorced ("is"--future tense) and thinks it's a "great cap" that he got "laid" yesterday by his Dr.'s secretary.

I don't think that type of behavior is "cute," nor a "great cap."

Now, how do you deduce from what I have written that I "presume to know everything" about this person, or HeyHey?

Stephanie

19. One of our friends got divorced about six months ago.
It was a good thing and the split had been coming for quite some time, but since becoming "free," our friend has turned into quite the wild boy. It's as if women fall out of trees at his feet - EVERYWHERE he goes he has women wanting to pick HIM up. He's dating several women right now, and from what I can gather, he's sleeping with all of them.

I think he's playing with fire, but he's a big boy, I suppose.

20. As my best friend said to me
...four months after my wife walked out to run off with a co-worker, one month after I had managed to get divorce papers filed, two months before the state's mandatory 90-day divorce "cooling off period" ended, and the morning after my first post-marriage date, about which I was wondering if I should feel guilty:

"Robb, in what possible sense do you think you two are still married?"

I think we divorced men look attractive because people figger we've already been somewhat trained. :D

15. dude, I have found when you are in a relationship
girls cling to you like white on rice.

When you single they are clinging to someone else who has a girl already.
