2. A great sense of humor is in the top two as far as I'm concerned
A guy with a great sense of humor and who's intelligent to boot wins my heart every time :hi:

3. Way way way way way way up there...
No sense of humor = lousy lay. Take that one to the bank!

Also no fun to do anything else with.

4. it seems to be a turn on
monkeys do it too with the grimacing and snarling. i think it's very important for courtship, and for long term relations.

and in every day life as well.

ha!

11. Yeah I'm gonna have to disagree with you there.
I've known funny guys that were lousy and serious guys that were unforgettable.

17. Oh, it's no guarantee of quality...
...but my belief is that often, sex itself is damn funny and both parties need to be secure enough to acknowledge this and enjoy it. It's more an ability to laugh at themselves (and me, when I deserve it) than being comedian-witty.

5. Sense of humor is important, but the guy
doesn't have to be a brilliant wit. He just has to see the funny side of life more often than not, IMO. In otherwords, I'm not necessarily out for somebody who's always cracking jokes -- not everyone is all that fast on their feet, and that's OK. But someone who sees things as funny and enjoys them with you.

I've dated comedian types and serious types as well. Other things are more important to me.

One of the many reasons why my sweetie has me for the long haul is because we crack each other up like we're two big kids.

16. fairly important
I'm not as concerned with them making me laugh as I am in being able to make them laugh and that they can laugh at the same things I can.

18. Way up near the top of the list
Now it has to be a compatible sense of humor, but a compatible sense of humor is a sign of a compatible mindset all around.

The older I get, the more I evaluate men on the question of whether I could stand to take a long car trip with them. Would we have pleasant conversations and amiable silences, or would we end up like those couples you see at highway-side restaurants, staring pure hatred and/or boredom at each other?

28. The Only Think I Find More Attractive Than a Sense of Humor
is intelligence. I think laughter is vital, especially the ability to laugh at oneself.

can't have someone who only gets a chuckle out of things that you find offensive or just don't get...
