I got my mom the 1st season of the Golden Girls on DVD.
But I have to say, I got it as much for myself as for her. I love that show. :D

1. That show is a classic!
It's funny no matter how old (or young) you are. :D

2. I was watching it earlier.
And I was surprised how funny it really was. I mainly remember the show in the late 80s and early 90s, but the first season had a lot of gems in it. The one where Rose is dating the dwarf is absolutely classic!

3. Cool show
I really enjoy the flashbacks with Dorothy and Sophia that are in some of the episodes.

5. I used drive crazy, tailgate, and generally be an
asshole on the road, to get home in time to see GG. Thank God it's on in the morning now. In the years it was in it's first run I was a single parent, and missed it most of the time. In 97 I went on afternoons, and it would be coming on just as I got home. Did you know that Betty White was supposed to be Blanche when they were casting the show? She was coming off playing Sue Ann Nivins when they approached her.
