Update on GreenLantern:
Looks like he will be going home from the hospital tomorrow. They may or may not put another drain in the incision. He obviously is hoping for not.

Apparently the deal is that he has a Staph infection in his belly and the antibiotics he'd been on since the initial hernia surgery didn't keep this thing at bay. So they're going to whip up some sort of cocktail to shut it down.

Thanks again for all your well-wishes and prayers.

5. This can be a common side-effect from having surgery. I worked for
surgeons and there is always a possibility of infection at the wound-site. They will play around with antibiotics until they find the right mix after doing C&S (Culture and Sensitivities) of the wound to see what is growing. Since it is staph - they will formulate what it is sensitive to and attack it with that drug.
Take Care
