We closed up early to celebrate secretary's day

I went and bought some CDs--An otis Redding collection and Muddy Waters Singles 1947-1955 to replace 2 of the same I had that were scratched

I also got the epynomus 1st Paul Butterfield Blues Band Album, The Millenium Collection of Bobby 'Blue' Bland (an incredible blues singer) and another collection---The Best of British Blues Vol. 1. I only listened to two tracks on the British blues one---the 1st is the Yard Birds w/ Clapton circa 1964 playing Howlin' Wolf's "smokestack Lightning" live---and it f-in rocks! Jam the hell out of it, which is coincidentally one of my all time favorite Blues Songs. The other was the Animals doing John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom" live and it was pretty awful. The Hooker original is among the greatest blues songs ever, but this version stank.
