4. ok here's the scenairo
BGEA has a book club where they send out a free copy of that months feature to people who call in.
For two weeks i handled calls, and let me tell you I met some of the most INTERESTING people!

we can talk:
evils of homosexuality
evils of darwinism
are you a good christian ?
people calling in with weird visions
the list goes on.
where should i start

13. well
they had a prayer line at the same building i worked at.
even though i was only supposed to handle calls for book orders, people would still call me looking for prayers.
Most of the time when i said i couldn't pray with them, they'd insist.
One day a lady called in, telling me she needed me to pray with her.
She began telling me about her visions of snakes, lots of snakes, snakes that had some kind of animal in their mouths. Animals with her faces on them (she saw this vision whenever she closed her eyes).
She was totally distraught! she truly believed that the devil was possessing her (she told me so), and refused to talk to someone else, i tried to calm her down and talk with her.
though to no avail.
I never found out what happened to her.

9. that is what I meant.
Does anyone there ever feel remorse at taking all of some poor slob's belongings. By the way, it doesn't shock me nearly as much as it should.

im not shocked about a lot after working there.

"may i help you?"
"i read this GREAT article called "defeating darwinism" and I need another copy!"

seriously, i was on pins and needles trying to hold my tongue every second i was the phone!

12. Can you tell me what temp agency? I got an e-mail from a temp agency
about a job with a "non-profit" doing fund-raising. This was Office Team. Wonder if this is what they were thinking of.

it was in Minneapolis, and I'm not sure what BGEA would have paid me because my rate is dependant on the bids that my temp agency made.

21. I Made the mistake of doing an Operation Child box for
my son's class. Now I am flooded with graphics-laden adverts - for all sorts of Godly funds - from these relentless people.

If I return the envelope with a request for some help with my own Godly projects, do you think they'll fork over some $$$$????
