about ways to honor him and to help another young man who suffered from the same infection that took Jeff:

Hi all,
I recently made arrangements to keep Jeff's Cafepress store open for a while. All proceeds from the store will be donated to a high school senior who lives near Jeff's hometown in CT. This young man lost both of his legs to the same horrid infection that took Jeff from us. We believe that Jeff would be very pleased to know that his store and creative talents were helping to pay for the artificial legs John will need, as well as a customized wheelchair. John has an amazingly positive attitude after all he has been through, and what better way to honor Jeff?

The Cabaret community in NYC is also planning a musical Tribute to Jeff. (Proceeds also to help John.) I will be sure to have someone post information on it once a date has been set.

Blue Dog Bark, another BLOG that Jeff helped a friend set up, is also donating all proceeds to help this young man. Jeff has some really wonderful and caring friends!

On behalf of Jeff's family, I'd like to thank everyone at DU for their kind thoughts and friendship.

We all miss him, but he will never be forgotten.
