3. Purrfect as usual
Althea is growing up into quite the loving young lady, and Quinn is acting like he owns the place.

You know, the usual :)

I have such a weakness for tabbies (have a little tabby/calico at home)

6. Ah! That's Skittles, and she's not only a tabby, she's also a
dilute tortie with the lithe body of a Siamese:

11. This is embarrassing -- The Little
We were boarding a big-ass tomcat Andy for a friend when another friend stops by with this tiny, skinny kitten. The kitten spent the next month stalking and torturing Andy, complete witih loud catfights at 3am. We fell into referring to the two as Andy and the little one, and Little One just stuck. I hate calling her in at night (she comes when she's called in) "Little!! Little!!"

The guy who dropped her off thought she was male (he didn't know tri-colored cats are male). A family of Russians just plopped her outside when they went to visit Mother Russia for a month, figuring (I guess) that cats fend well for themselves - but this doesn't apply to 4-month old motherless kittens. Ticks, fleas, ear mites, dehydration and starvation. She had the good sense to follow our friend home and yell in front of his house all night.

Fortunately, his cat didn't like her, so she ended up with us.

What's a dilute tortie? (is it a tortie/tabby cross?)

12. It's a fine name -- and you rock! You rescuer, you!
A dilute tortie is part tortoiseshell and part other variant. I don't know if the other variant has to be tabby or if it can be other. Skittles is the second one I've ever seen -- the first being her mom, Ringtail.
