Paula Abdul Did NOT Have Affair With 'American Idol' Contestant
SO STOP SAYING THAT!!! :shrug:

<snip>

LOS ANGELES -- Paula Abdul is turning her nose up at allegations she had an affair with an ex-contestant on "American Idol."

In a statement released to "Access Hollywood," the publicist for the "American Idol" judge said, "Paula Abdul will not dignify the false statements made by Corey Clark with a response. Mr. Clark is an admitted liar and opportunist who engages in unlawful activities. He is communicating lies about Paula Abdul in order to generate interest in a book deal."

Clark has claimed he had an affair with Abdul and that she offered to help his career.

An interview with Clark is part of an upcoming expose of "American Idol" on the TV news magazine "Primetime Live."

According to "Access Hollywood," ABC said it will "explore explosive claims about behind-the-scenes activities" at the show.

7. Who cares, her opinion is worth dryer lint on that show
She's one of these "positive no matter what" people on that show and should have stuck to being a laker girl.

I may be a complete d*ck judge of talent, but Simon's right almost 100% of the time and if I was on that show, his opinion would be the only one i'd respect.

8. I worked on that show for the NYC auditions a couple years back
And noticed two things (I had never seen the show before):

1. Simon was the only one who was remotely honest with the contestants. This seemed a little mean at first, but when you have someone who is *completely* tone-deaf and is planning their entire life around being a famous pop-star, someone needs to tell them to have a backup career in mind.

2. Off camera, Simon was far and away the nicest of the judges. He came up to several of us low-level PA types after the first day of shooting and thanked us for doing such a good job and shook our hands. Paula and Randy acted as though we weren't there the entire time.

11. Also I think that criticism of Paula's critiques of contestants
finally caught up with her. Last night on Idol she didn't hardly do any of her cheerleading but actually tried to come up with honest critiques of their performances. For the first two contestants, she was harder than Simon!!
