Because of traffic, etc. you're probably talking an hour and a half to Baltimore (depends on where in Baltimore).

7. An hour and a half in good traffic

add at least an hour, better yet another 90 minutes, during the evening rush hour. You would have to take the inner loop of the beltway from the Dulless Access Road around to 95 North and that traffic is Godawful. Your other option would be to take Route 15 from the Dulles Greenway to Frederick, MD and then I-70 to Baltimore, which is a long trip.

so we have to work from there. I also pmed that I could help but it would have to be an evening or weekend flight since Dulles is about 2.5 hours from my place.

But still, I don't mind helping - that's what we are all there for!

The traffic is horrendous around DC. Southwest Air's hub is BWI and they have very good rates. I'm about 10-15 minutes from BWI.
