"Citizen Ruth" is on Showtime now. A great film about extremism

1. Great film..

Laura Dern was perfect in it, and it (deservedly) savaged all sides of the issue. And Red Foreman as a fundie pervert, too!

2. i guess this is an interesting film...

...but i don't think it's a great film! she's an irresponsible glue head! there's nothing heroic about her, she's a mess~
i can't find anything in the film that's admirable.

3. Its a parody on extremism and how the important things/people are

set aside for the appetites of zealots.
Of course she's a mess. She's supposed to be, and not the heroine of the film.
