Did Jon Stewart sound rattled to you?

Watching TDS tonight, and it sounded like Jon was rattled when he was reporting on "Justice Sunday." The jokes were funny, but they were delivered maybe a touch too brightly, with maybe a hint of whistling past the graveyard.

Okay, I admit, I'm not great at reading vocal inflections and body language, so I might be way off-base. It just bothered me, and I want to know if I'm imagining it.

Jon showed the clip then ripped them to shreds for not calling the person on this blatant lie. He was majorly pissed & rightfully so.

And Kyra Phillips definitely did not just roll over and accept that statistic, as the severly edited "Daily Show" clip suggested. I was actually somewhat surprised that Kyra challenged the woman repeatedly before deciding the woman was a moron and it was a lost cause.

But he was visibly pissed off about the fundie hatefest and CNN's lameass excuse for news coverage. I've noticed that a lot lately with him. Which is a good thing, because he really rips them a new one when he's on the warpath. The audience was pumped!

15. He was brilliant last night

When he tore the media apart for not doing their jobs.

It was beyond just a bit, he was as close to livid as he should probably get.

If I had to bet, he may have blew past the earlier stuff some just because he was about to do a segment that had him pissed. I will watch the first few minutes of the rerun tonight to see how he was.
