Front row tickets for an Ashlee Simpson concert or a nice root canal

1. I've had a root canal,

and while it was unpleasant, and I'm certainly not eager to repeat the experience, it wasn't *entirely* horrific, and I'd gladly submit to another one before I'd suffer an Ashlee Simpson performance.

5. I had one too, and they had to peel me off the ceiling.

I was 15. I'd never taken any drug more powerful than aspirin in my life. They gave me TWO Seconals to calm me down, and I think that to this day there are holes in the arms of the dental chair from me digging my fingers in.

3. I've had two root canals...and I didn't mind 'em at all.

Didn't hurt, they were rather boring however.

BUT an Ashlee Simpson concert would both be boring and hurt.
