My mother thinks I'm dumb since I can't breathe when she smokes around me

Why is this ok? She just screamed at me because I asked her to turn on the fan. Dammit, I have a cold, and can barely breathe as it is, but then she smokes around me and I start hacking up a lung. And she makes fun of me. CAn you tell me on any level that this is OK?

My :loveya: smokes, but he only does it outdoors or in the garage, never in the house or the car. He also hates the smell of smoke.

It's my considered opinion that smokers are just committing slow suicide anyway, so why not just speed it up a bit?

at least it has been for me.

It smells more like poison at that time then at any other time.

Maybe you can try having her in a small room and spray a lot of enamel paint and see how she feels about it.

Have you ask her why she is trying to kill herself by smoking? Doesn't she know that suicide is illegal?

I used to smoke and I have compassion for people with a habit. BUT I also have compassion for those who are forced to inhale other people's smoke especially when they're sick or suffer asthma or something.
