All kidding aside he did an excellent job (little did I know he wasn't acting at the time!)

7. That movie made me fall in love with James Spader.
The movie "Crash" made me fall out of love with him.

Less than Zero--the book on which it's based, by Brett Easton, is a great read, if you've never read it.

9. "Oh God I feel like Julian"
A friend of mine said that on a roadtrip once. No not like THAT just that he had more than a little too much of the recipe the night before.

12. You should be like," I have excellent taste." My brother has worked
with him on films and says he is truly one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. :hi:

17. He is a location manager. You will see him in a lot of film credits.
He has also been an asst. director. He is working towards becoming a director in his own right, and currently has a film in talks. :hi:

20. Funny story. He worked on "Night of the Running Man" with him.
Which was a B flick that came out about a decade ago. (It's actually pretty good) The director had my brother get him on the line for him, but another call came in so he told my brother to stall him...So my brother has a 20 minute conversation with Andrew McCarthy on how his sister (me) was in love with him in high school and actually paid to see Pretty in Pink six times...

So, Andrew McCarthy actually *talked* about me...even though I was more of a James Spader fan...Any port in a storm I guess. ;)

22. I have to laugh because. . .
I actually have "Night on the Running Man" on VHS!

Back when I had my schoolgirl crush on Andrew McCarthy, I hunted down every last one of his movies. Of course I've seen "Night of the Running Man"! Ha ha ha! What a total geek, huh?

That is such a cool story! Wow! Thanks for telling me! :)

23. If you ever watch it again, look closely when he runs into the airport,
the woman (stewardess) walking out with the pilot is now my brother's wife. They met on the set of that film. :hi:

24. I will definitely dig it out and watch it.
It's kind of a neat coincidence that you have a personal connection to this movie, and I am probably one of the few people on the planet with a copy of the movie in their closet. Ain't DU wonderful?

IMMEDIATELY after I had tracked down and watched every single one of his movies, my crush wore off, and I was like :wtf: . What I am doing with all these stupid movies? I swear it was like some kind of a brat pack voodoo spell.
