In honor of his new release, "Devils and Dust". Watch the Storytellers segment at 11pm eastern where he explains that title song as a dedication to the soldiers in Iraq--sent there to deal with some untenable situations.

It brought me back to his November appearances for Kerry/Edwards in Madison, Columbus, and Cleveland.

powerful, powerful stuff. apart from U2,he's the only other artist who's songs seem to hit me at a gut level.
