I just installed Microsoft "Bob" on an XP machine.

Bill Gates' most embarassingly lame attempt at a different user interface-- designed for, I believe Win95. It came and went in perhaps a week.

The amazing thing is, it actually functions rather well on an XP computer. It's still horrible, 'tho....

5. It was just a lame graphical overlay clickable interface
Click on different objects to get into your programs. It's not the only one in existence, it's just the lamest.

2. Billy's been on the news this week getting ready to drop Longhorn
On a suspecting public. I have to laugh. I hope they test it before release this time. :eyes:

8. I hope they test it before release this time.
Why? Everyone can just download 8 gigs of patches, service packs, and updates later, right? I mean - it's not like there's anyone that *doesn't* have a D3 line directly connected to their computer. :eyes:

4. There was something JUST LIKE THIS for my old 586.
You would click on the calendar to open the calendar function, the mail slot to check email, etc. It even had a stereo and TV control, I guess in 1995 they envisioned peopel using the computer to control all aspects of their homes.

6. WTF is that?
And there is that damned dog. I hate that damned dog. I am trying to search for something important and it makes me feel like I should raise my hand and ask permission. What possessed them to put such a Kindergarten thing on a computer for adults?

BTW, I thought you meant Enzyte Bob and I figured it made more sense than that damned dog.

7. I thought it was funny
It was so cheesy, that it was funny to have it on a computer. Someone gave it to me, and I was laughing my ass off when I installed it.
