seen a laptop that wasn't an Apple, which makes me wonder...

Is there like a "gay discount" from Apple or something?

Just kidding :)

1. Well, take a look at their old logo....

I don't think it was deliberately designed to market to the gay community, but it probably was interpreted that way by many.

9. That's true.. I was thinking the same could be said about the Atari
logo, with the shifting colors, but that really isn't the case.

20. Your 53rd could be a Mac and I'd bet you'd still be straight.
Go on. Rock your computing world. It's not like you have to fear a virus.

5. I see Macs in almost every show (gay or not)
I think product placement IS their advertisement. Notice how you see a Dell commercial every 15 minutes but never an Apple commercial. I haven't seen a legitimate commercial for Apple in over 2 years yet see a Mac as the predominate computer in nearly every show.

6. Apple seems to do a lot of product-placement.
If Apple didn't pay for that exposure, the show would probably have used a different one.

8. my buddy Rose produces "L-Word".
Apple has an exclusive with any show her company produces (mostly TV movies). Has for at least seven years.

I'm totally confused about QAF, we seem to have jumped from season 2 to season 4 (off-topic, but what the heck :) )

14. Much better advertising, in my opinion. Don't know how cost
effective it is though.

7. I have Macs & a Dell, but I must say Apple is a requisite for
gays. (best friend is gay and he says all his friends have Macs).I asked him why and he said "it's an aesthetic thing." LOL!

Go figure.
