My neighbor keeps buying dogs and taking them back
Because they cry and whimper at night!? I told their daughter that all puppies cry and she said they're looking for one that doesn't. IMO, if you can't put up with the challenges of puppy-hood, you shouldn't have a dog. I predict bad things when they finally find one that doesn't cry. I can't imagine how they'll react when it poops and pees on the carpet 50 times.

2. And they have a daughter?
Did she never cry? How could they think a puppy wouldn't.

3. They'll take it to the pound
or dispose of the poor thing in a neighborhood.
I have a neighbor who bought a puppy for his kids, no one trained her and she kept stealing newspapers from my yard. I guess she stole one too many because they got rid of her. Did I mention that this neighbor is an ass?
What reality do these people operate in?

4. The guy is a moron!!!
I remember having to stay up one night with one of my dogs years ago because we had just brought her home and she whined all night. I expected it because I have never heard of a dog that didn't!! If he can't stand it then there is no way he should be allowed to have a dog because its a trauma for them to be taken home then shipped right back.

5. It's a single mother and a 5 year old daughter

You're right, they probably shouldn't bring a dog into the house. I'm worried because my complex is overrun by neglected dogs. There are three out of control German shepherds that have tried to kill my dogs on several occasions. Still, I feel that it's not my place to tell the Mom what she should or shouldn't do. I'm hoping the pet store wises up soon, they're on puppy #4 now.

6. They have too sooner or later
Too bad you don't know where they are getting them. Maybe you could call the manager and see what he or she has too say.

7. Do your best to discourage her from getting a dog - tell her they are a
royal pain in the butt whining, peeing, crapping expensive nuisances. By the time you get them home and their shots, de-FLEAING, etc it will cost you tons of money!!!! Make it sound really horrible!!!!
